How LetPool handles workplace commute data.
This policy explains how LetPool collects and uses information for private, company-verified coworker ride sharing.
Effective Date: May 1, 2026
LetPool is a private, company-verified commuting platform for coworker-only ride sharing. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and retain information when you use LetPool.
The platform is designed for closed workplace networks where employees join with official company email and share rides with verified coworkers.
Account information: name, official company email address, gender, company name, role or designation, and location details needed for account setup.
Commute and ride information: routes, ride listings, ride requests, ride activity, host details, passenger details, cancellations, and related ride status.
Profile and optional information: profile photo, payment screenshots, or other information you choose to provide for coworker ride coordination.
Technical information: basic device, log, diagnostic, IP address, and usage data needed to operate, secure, and improve the platform.
To verify your workplace access and connect you to the correct company commute network.
To show relevant coworker-only rides, host details, passenger requests, route information, and ride status.
To support gender-aware host visibility so passengers can make informed ride choices before joining.
To send account, ride, security, and service notifications.
To detect misuse, troubleshoot issues, improve product reliability, and maintain platform operations.
Your basic profile and ride-related information may be visible to verified coworkers when needed for ride discovery, ride hosting, passenger requests, and commute coordination.
This may include your name, company context, gender, route details, ride timing, host or passenger status, and relevant ride activity.
LetPool is designed to limit ride visibility to verified users inside the same workplace network.
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate LetPool, such as hosting, maps, email, analytics, diagnostics, and storage providers.
Company administrators may receive access to employee roster information or aggregate platform activity where needed to support workplace network management.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate misuse, or as part of a business transfer such as merger, acquisition, or restructuring.
LetPool may store payment method details or payment screenshots that users provide for ride coordination and cost-sharing evidence.
Payment timing and payment arrangements are between the Ride Host and passenger. LetPool may use submitted payment information to support ride records or dispute review where applicable.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
No online platform can guarantee absolute security. You should keep your login credentials private and use the platform responsibly.
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide LetPool, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce terms, and maintain business records.
When information is no longer needed, we may delete, anonymize, or archive it according to operational and legal requirements.
You may update certain profile information from your account settings.
You may request account deletion or ask questions about your personal information by contacting LetPool support.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.
LetPool may use cookies or similar technologies for login sessions, preferences, security, analytics, and basic platform functionality.
We aim to keep tracking limited to what is needed to operate and improve the service.
LetPool may process information in countries where we or our service providers operate.
When information is processed outside your country, we take reasonable steps designed to protect it according to this Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.
LetPool is intended for adult professionals and workplace users. It is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice through the platform, email, or another reasonable method.
